Day 1: Arrival in Chiang Rai

We visit the world-famous Wat Phra Kaew where the Emerald Buddha image was once enshrined
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Wat Phra Singh, Singharat Road Phra Sing Subdistrict, Chiang Mai Thailand
Move on to Wat Phra Singh where one of Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha images is now enshrined

Stop At: Baan Dam Museum, 333 Moo 13, Nang Lae, Chiang Rai 57100 Thailand
Baan Dam (Black House) is the unique creation of national artist, Thawan Duchanee. Part art studio, part museum, part home, Baan Dam is an eclectic mix of traditional northern Thai buildings interspersed with some outlandish modern designs.

Afternoon we will take on our boat cruise on Mae Kok river from Chiang Rai to Karen village where you can watch elephants or feed them. After that you will take 1-hour elephant trekking

Day 3: Chiang Rai – Mae Salong – Chiang Saen
Stop At: Mae Salong, Mae Salong, Chiang Rai Province
you will explore the surroundings and the first road you will take is the one that leads to Mae Salong. Climb up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations. You will taste the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations of the region, bef. From Doi Mae Salong, you will visit two villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo

Mae Fah Luang Botanical Garden was officially established on December 21st, 2007 on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the king’s 80th Birthday Anniversary. The objectives were to collect the plant richness, to provide educational services to the public, student and professionals in the botany fields and related subjects and to create the unique tourist attration with a varaity of gardens and collections on 5,000 rai (800 hectares).

On arrival in Golden Triangle, take boat trip on Mekong River to see Thailand, Burma & Laos triangle
