Meet at the Portimão pier and prepare for an unforgettable adventure. After a brief and important safety briefing, board the agile RIB boat, ready to explore the wonders of the Algarve coast. For over 13 years with excursions, boat trips, visits to the caves, the coast and the marine territory we have been happy to make our customers live real "experiences" in Santa Maria di Leuca and Salento. We will visit both seas, both Adriatic and Ionian. Swim stops will be made and our skippers will personally accompany guests inside the caves. In addition to snorkeling equipment, there will be SUP boards with which everyone can try their hand and have fun and equipment for those less able to swim. During the route there will be a detailed description of the places that will be visited, with historical, geographical notes and stories about the area. On the boat, there will be other guests with whom to share experiences and socialize.

Crystal clear water, sandy bottoms, coves and fish are just some of the magnificent things to see on our excursions. The Cradle of Humankind was declared a World Heritage Site in 1999 because of the area’s exceptional contribution to our understanding of the history of humanity, over 3-million years. All together, there are 15 major fossil sites in the Cradle of Humankind, of which Sterkfontein Caves is the most famous. The fossils “Mrs Ples” and “Little Foot” were both discovered at the Sterkfontein Caves, as well as thousands more fossils of hominids, which are human ancestors, as well those of plants and animals. More hominid fossils have been found in the Cradle of Humankind than anywhere else on Earth. During this tour you will have access to the exhibits and get the full pictures of remarkable fossil findings.

You will be visiting 3 of the remarkable caves here on the Island together with a Native or Local tour guide. We will pick you up at the ship's port or your hotel or apartment. Transportation from and to your accommodation is covered. The caves are located on the North side of the Island. One at the entrance of Santa Barbara and one just down the road at Hill Top; we will stop at the second Cave. This area is rich in caves. The first Cave we will be visiting has a ladder you must climb to get into Cave. When you are in the Cave, there will be bats and many unique rocks. When you are in the Cave, you will see a lot of types of limestones, as you can see in the pictures, and some of the rocks look like they have gliders on them because when you shine your light or flashlight on them, they start glowing. If you like cliff jumping, we will be visiting a small and low cliff jumping after the cave tour. It is enjoyable!!!! 🙂 The ridge is not high at all, and everyone can jump from it.
