This Skagway shore excursion will show you a glimpse of Canada's legendary north country. On this half-day tour by mini-bus, you'll travel up to the White Pass to cross the border into Canada and travel the Klondike Highway in British Columbia. You'll see incredible scenery and maybe even spot native wildlife roaming the spectacular scenery, including moose, bears, birds, mountain goats and Dall sheep. The turnaround point is the Yukon border and Welcome to the Yukon sign for a great photo. As a bonus, we include a stop at the Yukon Suspension Bridge! View the Tutshi river canyon while crossing the bridge and see educational displays. Also available are clean, flush restrooms (the only ones available on the tour route), snack bar to purchase food, and Yukon gift shop. This stop makes this tour unique among tour options that do similar itinerary. All passengers must bring a current valid passport (and/or USA/Canada Visa if required by your nationality). Our signature flightseeing and glacier landing tour, includes 30 mins of flightseeing and 30 mins landed at 3 Glacier areas including on the glacier itself. This tour includes an alpine landing where you will have 30 mins to see the grand size of the 5 mile wide and 29 mile long Knik Glacier with a birds eye view. Your 2nd landing takes you to a 100 foot ice wall where you may even be able to see the massive ice calve . After 30 minutes exploring you go to the glacier landing right in the middle of Knik Glacier, where you can get out of the helicopter and spend about 30 minutes exploring ancient ice. See the azure blue melt pools (summer), crevasses and ice formations created by water, wind and the sun. During your flight seeing, keep your eyes open for the area wildlife to include Moose, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Bears and even wolf on occasion! The most popular tour! Drive your own sled-dog team with 6 time Iditarod winner Dallas Seavey's team of mushers, handlers and champion dogs on real snow in the middle of summer surrounded by amazing scenery. Start this adventure with a helicopter ride over glaciers. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and goats. Land on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with champion sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer. Take the dog team for a ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush a dog team or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After your dogsled tour meet the canine athletes that pulled your sled, and of course take pictures with your favorite dogs. After the tour the helicopter takes you back to the lodge and you’ll fly over the lower glaciers where you can see the blue melt pools and the crevasses. Total Tour Time: 1.5 hours – includes 1 hour with the dogsled team (aprox 30 min sled ride) and approx 30 min round trip flightseeing

Look for Beluga Whales, Sea Otters, and Dall Sheep as we wind our way into Anchorage. Our first stop will be the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, which is a sanctuary dedicated to preserving Alaska’s wildlife, you'll see Brown and Black Bears, Moose, Wood Bison, Wolves, Caribou, and many other species. As we arrive in Anchorage we'll stop by a Chocolate factory and Gift shop and enjoy some sweet samples. Our next stop is Alaska Sausage and Seafood to sample fresh Smoked Salmon & Reindeer Sausage then on to Earthquake Park and finally Lake Hood (the largest Sea Plane base in America) and watch these amazing pilots take off and land. This is truly a wonderful tour that you will thoroughly enjoy and talk about for years to come. At the end of the tour, we will drop you off anywhere in Anchorage at your request!

Dalls sheep, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, mule deer, wapiti (elk), woodland caribou, wood bison, musk-ox, moose, arctic fox and even lynx can all be seen on this tour. It's a photographer's and naturalist's dream to see Yukon's wildlife up close and you will be in the front-row to learn about wildlife living year-round in the True North.

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses. Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team. After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools. Total Tour time 2 hours – 1 hour on the glacier with dogsledding (aprox 30 min sled ride) and 30 min at the lower glacier near the crevasses and blue melt pools. Experience the thrill of ascending to heights offering 360-degree views of the nearby Cook Inlet and interior Chugach mountains. Gaze at deep, glaciated, u-shaped valleys, and giant ridge lines defining the landscape. Imagine pristine, treeless, tundra loaded with vegetation that you can touch, taste, and feel. If you have never seen alpine before, prepare to be amazed! Alpine trekking is an incredibly unique way to see the landscape. You can see endless miles of mountainous terrain. On a clear day, we can even see Mt. Denali hundreds of miles away! Plus, once you're on top, the terrain can be fairly flat, making the trekking a truly enjoyable experience. During the tour, we may see moose, bear, Dall sheep, mountain goats, and a variety of small mammals like arctic squirrels and marmots. There are also plenty of birds to gaze at like bald eagles, thrushes, chickadees, and jays. This is one of our favorite ways to experience Alaska and the Chugach State Park.

The trail is a wide double track of dirt and gravel, making this a non-technical mountain bike ride, great for anyone who enjoys adventure and knows how to ride a bike.
