Pedra do Telégrafo is located in the west side of Rio de Janeiro. The rock has a nice view of the beautiful city, in on one side we see wild beaches and the Tijuca National Park. On the other side, we have a wonderful view of the Marambaia, a huge beach with big swamp area. The hiking takes approximately 1 hour to climb(one way), its summit is 354 meters above sea level. Returning from Pedra do Telégrafo to the city we will stop for a bath and relaxing at Grumari(one of the most beautiful beaches in Rio) and after we will drive trough all the beaches along the coast of Rio with many opportunities to take photos.

Located in the West side of Rio, inside the huge Pedra Branca State park, with plenty of native forest and wild life. At 1,161 feet (354 meters) high, Pedra do Telégrafo, offers sweeping views of wild beaches, Tijuca forest, Barra da Tijuca and the famous Restinga da Marambaia, almost 43km long white sand strip with restrict access. You can stand on top of or hang from a large, sharp rock, which isn’t actually very far off the ground, your camera angle can make it appear like you’re a daredevil about to fall down the mountainside. The best selfie ever! On the way back we will drive by Grumari, Prainha, Macumba and Recreio dos Bandeirantes beaches. The hike begins in Guaratiba on the west zone of Rio, after 35 minutes of walking up a medium level trail we have a breathtaking view of the beaches Parque da Pedra Branca' beach and Recreio dos Bandeirantes' beach. Price per person for groups (minimum two people) using shared transport.
