The visit inside the beautiful Piccolomini Library is an unique experience. The frescoes realized by Pinturicchio and Raffaello depict scenes of the life of Enea Silvio Piccolomini who became Pope Pius II. During the period when the floor has been uncovered, the guide will also show and explain you some of the panels under the dome designed by the Sienese artist Domenico Beccafumi.
