After a short instruction and safety brief by our expert guides, who will accompany you throughout your journey, Your ride begins at the iconic St John's Parish Church, a classic 1640 Gothic-style Anglican Church with panoramic views of the East Coast. We take you along Hackleton's Cliff escarpment, an impressive geological feature encasing The Scotland District, then ride through the environmentally friendly, bio-dynamic PEG Farm To Cotton Tower, an abandoned signal station with a rich history from the 1800s that sits on the highest point of our ride at 1091ft; we then continue along casuarina tree-lined trails and country back roads completing our loop back to St. John's Parish Church for post-ride refreshments.

Learn a new sport, Sandboarding, and as a bonus, get to know one of the most beautiful regions of La Paz El Mogote, the beautiful city still has regions to be discovered. We will drive to El Mogote until we access the Dunes permanent preservation area west side of the city. You will practice surfing in the Dunes, equipped with sand boards. Your guide will teach you the basic safety techniques and descend with the boards, the difficulty levels vary according to the size and inclination of the dunes, as you improve the technique exploring new challenges. Sandboard, Surf in the sand, is an amazing mix of Surf, Skate and Snowboard, a fun activity and full of ages. This itinerary does not require previous experience, venture with us!

If it's your first time, don't worry, we'll teach you in a simple and fun way, it's easier than it seems and we guarantee that you'll love it. And if you already have experience, we'll surely be able to teach you some tricks on the board. All this while we explore the mangrove channels and tunnels that are home to different species of fish and birds, including flamingos that we'll see if we're lucky. Discover why biologists call the mangrove "the nursery" and learn other curious facts about this ecosystem that's so important for humanity. After a theoretical class, we'll start the adventure sitting on the board so that it's easy to learn how to control it. Once you've mastered this part, we'll help you stand up. Although the challenge is to paddle standing up, you can also sit, kneel, lie down and even stand on your head or do yoga on the board… the idea is to have fun! Every tour lasts up to four(4) hours and begins on the calm waters of Monkey Beach in Misahualli, the Ecuadorian Amazon. We always hire a boat to float alongside us, so some passengers get on and off the boat, SUP paddle a bit, practice, do yoga, swim, get back in the boat, take photos, explore secluded beaches, paddle some more, etc. From Monkey Beach we will float on the Misahualli River along gentle easy water to the Napo River, past secluded beaches, to native Kichwa villages such as Awarina and Shipati where many of our friends live. Optional activies along the route include tiny class 1 rapids, wildlife-viewing such as monkeys and birds, visiting native villages and seeing exotic pets, fossil hunting, and even a chance to pan for gold. When we stop on a secluded beach, one person can pan for gold while others are hunting for fossils, while another sits on the boat eating snacks. This is a very easy laid-back tour with plenty of options for varied fitness levels and ages.
