Agung Rai Museum of Art (ARMA) was established for a purpose. Founded by Agung Rai, a Balinese who has devoted his life to the preservation and development of Balinese art and culture, the museum was officially opened on June 9, 1996 by Prof. Dr. Ing. Wardiman Djojonegoro, Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. The collection ranges from traditional to contemporary, including classical Kamasan painting on tree bark, masterpieces by Batuan artists of the 1930s and 1940s and the only works to be seen on the island of Bali by 19th century Javanese artist Raden Saleh and Syarif Bustaman. Foreign artists who lived and worked in Bali are represented by Willem Gerard Hofker, Rudolf Bonnet, and Willem Dooijewaard among others. The works of German painter Walter Spies have a special place in the collection because of his important contribution to the development of Balinese arts.

We will leave the hotel towards one of the seven wonders of the Modern World, the tour an Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant, which allows a panoramic view from a centrally located viewpoint.
Located no Paraná River, which borders Brazil and Paraguay, the visit that lasts about 1 hour and a half, is done in an open bus of tourism through of the second largest hydroelectric plant in the world. We will see a video documentary of about 30 minutes at the Visitor Reception Center about Itaipu, which talks about construction and environmental preservation projects.
We will proceed to the dam, stopping at the lookout, where we will have a view of the dam and also the water spillway. With favorable weather conditions, we will reach the crown of the dam to have an incredible view of Lake Itaipu. The visit ends at the souvenir shop, making it possible to take a little piece of this fantastic experience home. Then we will return to the hotel.

Whitehorse's only 'transport only' option to take you to the Takhini Hot Springs Road, perfect for visiting the Yukon Wildlife Preserve and Eclipse Hot Springs! For those wanting to visit both the hot springs, and the wildlife preserve, we recommend the 11am departure. After exploring the Wildlife Preserve, it's a short 15 minute walk to the hot springs, down a lightly traffic'd road.
You can make a day of it by stopping at Bean North Cafe for lunch and a drink, conveniently located halfway between the wildlife preserve and hot springs.
