Itinerary
Start the adventure with a pickup from your hotel and travel to the Elephant Care Village on a hill in the east of Samui. After a short health check-up, listen to your guide sharing information about the elephants that live here and the story of the sanctuary.
Then prepare some healthy treats and a nutritious meal for the elephants. Feed them with your own-made treat, and observe these gentle giants as they enjoy their newfound freedom. Enjoy this exclusive experience and have a private walk with the elephants into the jungle.
Learn how to bath the elephants and scrub them with mud to protect their skin from sunburn and insects. Shower them and clean the elephant’s skin, and even join them in the water for a refreshing cool-off. Once the elephants are clean, you can take some final photos with them before going separate ways and change into some dry clothes.
At midday you will feast in a sumptuous traditional Thai lunch, that you can learn to make yourself in the kitchen (Pad Thai or Papaya Salad). Enjoy a fantastic panoramic view to the heart shaped bay of Chaweng in the Gulf of Thailand before the driver will bring you back to the hotel with memories that will last a lifetime.
