First, we visit Chamthewi Temple or Ku Kut Temple, commonly referred to a Ku Kut, which was constructed in the Hariphunchai period. The chedi is a square tower which has 5 storeys. Similarly, the chedi is formed like a stepped pyramid. Then, we visit Queen Chamthewi Monument and walk to the local market and see the city. After that, we continue to visit Pra Yuen Temple. Finally, we visit Phrathat Hariphunchai Temple which was built during the reign of King Arthitayarat, a descendant of Queen Chamthewi some 800 years ago. A principal landmark is the 46-metre tall golden Chedi whose present appearance was the result of the restoration work in 1443 by a king of Chiang Mai. Other architectural works include the ancient-style brick arch adorned with fine designs and the pair of sculptured lions at the door.
