Itinerary
Day 1: Chiang Mai to Mae Sarieng
Stop At: Ban Luang Subdistrict, Doi Inthanon National Park 50270 Thailand
Visit the highest point in Thailand and a beautiful waterfall
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Mae Sarieng to Mae Hong Son
Stop At: Mae Hong Son Mountain Wat, Mae Hong Son Thailand
Only 160km today but a great ride and a chance to visit the Japanese War Memorial, a Karen Longneck Village and the picturesque Wat Kong Mu which overlooks MHS town
Duration: 6 hours

Day 3: Mae Hong Son to Pai
Stop At: Moo Ban Rak Thai (Mae Aw), Mok Cham Pae subdistrict, Mae Hong Son Thailand
Visit the Chinese village and if possib le, cross the bordder into neighbouring Myanmar.

Day 4: Pai to Chiang Rai
Stop At: Wat Rong Khun, Lahaul-Spiti Pa O Don Chai Subdistrict, Chiang Rai 57000 Thailand
Big riding day today so up early for a hearty breakfast then off. Great selection of roads which culminate in a visit to the spectacular “White Temple” of Chiang Rai (Wat Rong Khun)

Day 5: Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong
Stop At: Sop Ruak – the center of the Golden Triangle, Chiang Rai Thailand
An interesting day today – visit a Thai Army camp overlooking the border with Myanmar and then onto the (in)famous Golden Triangle.

Accommodation included: Overnight at Chiang Khong Riverside. No pool but you are right on the banks of the mighty Mekhong River.
Day 6: Chiang Khong to Chiang Mai
Stop At: Mae Kachan Hot Spring and Geyser, Moo 6 Pha Soet Phatthana Village Doi Hang Chang Wat Chiang Rai 57260, Thailand
Another big riding day today but as always, on fantastic, uncrowded roads. We aim to have you back in Chiang Mai by 5pm, or possibly a little earlier.
