Day 1: BANGKOK—KANCHANABURI—RIVER KWAI RESOTEL

Stop At: The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, 73 Jaokannun Road BanNua, Amphoe Muang, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand
Our first stop is at the interactive Thailand – Burma Railway Centre, both catering as a museum and information centre for the region. Covering two floors and with ample information to gain an understanding of what occurred, this centre lies within a short walking distance from the Allied War Cemetery, where over 6000 prisoners-of-war are laid to rest.

Guests are free to wander around in this well-maintained oasis of serenity and contemplation.

Stop At: Bridge Over the River Kwai, Tha Makham, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand
Next, the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, an essential link in the construction of the Death Railway – the metal arches have been featured all over the world and the reality of war.

Stop At: Mon Tribal Village, Kanchanaburi Thailand
Originating from neighbouring Myanmar, the Mon tribe have lived in this region for generations. Upon your return back to the resort, time to freshen up and enjoy a set dinner with a local Mon dance performance; the dance performance takes around 45 minutes and depicts the story of the Mon and their values.

Day 2: RIVER KWAI RESOTEL—BANGKOK

Stop At: Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre, 207 หมู่ที่ 11 Tambon Tha Sao, Amphoe Sai Yok, Chang Wat Kanchanaburi 71150, Thailand
Take an exciting boat ride downstream to Resotel Pier and continue to visit to the Hellfire Pass Memorial. A part of the Death Railway constructed during the Second World War and now abandoned. The long corridor, carved through solid rock has to be the main attraction alongside its small yet interesting museum
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: The Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, 73 Jaokannun Road BanNua, Amphoe Muang, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand
The ride will cross the treacherous wooden viaduct with stunning views over the river. The end of the line is the end of our Kanchanaburi adventure and at around 14:30 hrs, we head back to Bangkok where we will arrive at around 18:00 hrs.
