Next destination is Wat Phra Srisanphet, a site of great significance within the ancient royal palace of Ayutthaya. The main attractions of Wat Phra Srisanphet are the grand three stupas, exemplifying the exquisite Ceylonese architectural style. Interestingly it lies adjacent to Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and therefore both the ruins of Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the more contemporary Wat Mongkhon Bophit can be visited the same morning or afternoon.
Then continue visit Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit is a bronze Buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara; with a lap width of 9.55 meters and a height of 12.45 meters, it is one of the largest Buddha images in Thailand.
Explore Wat Lokayasutha, This sacred temple houses a remarkable treasure – the largest reclining Buddha image within the island city of Ayutthaya. You’ll be greeted by the awe-inspiring sight of an outdoor reclining Buddha, measuring an impressive 42 meters in length and standing 8 meters tall.

This sacred site holds a unique place in Ayutthaya’s rich tapestry, as it once enshrined the precious relic of Buddha himself.
