What makes Bangkok’s Timeless Treasures Private Tour a unique experience ?

Dive into Thailand’s rich cultural tapestry at Museum Siam, where interactive exhibits blend history with modern storytelling.

Drum Tower is a historic building in Bangkok that was built in 1782 on the side of Sanam Chai Road, Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon District, next to Wat Pho and the Territorial Defense Command.

Krom Khun Rahtsihawikrom, a son of King Rama III, created Rattanakosin’s spotless white Royal Clock Tower at the request of King Rama IV. The construction resembles a watch tower and is 10 wah tall, or around 20 metres. It features four balconies and a little cube-like structure in the centre of the top level with a pinnacle with four dials. It originally stood opposite the terrace of the Chakri Throne Hall (fig. ), but was dismantled during the reign of King Rama V and relocated to its current location, where it is hidden in plain sight, as one’s attention is usually diverted by the many other historical and important places of interest in the area.

The City Pillar Shrine, located across the street from the eastern wall of Wat Phra Kaeo to the southeast of Sanam Luang, has a wooden pillar constructed by King Rama I in 1782 to commemorate the capital’s establishment. The pillar’s spirit is revered as the city’s guardian god, with hundreds of Thai devotees flocking daily to pay tribute and offer prayers.
