You will be picked up from your hotel in downtown Bangkok (conditions apply) before 9 AM for a comfortable transfer to the meeting point. It is here, where you will meet your pedalling guides for the day, ready to show you some of the fabulous features of the ethnicity that still resides in this metropole. Once you are fitted to comfortably cycle around and absorbed the safety issues from your English-speaking cycling ‘ambassador’, it is Thonburi all the way. Low-key Thonburi offers different experiences where vendors sell noodles from old wooden paddle-boats that cruise the area’s elaborate web of canals and locals ride bicycles through leafy alleyways containing old wooden homes.

An ingenious route brings you along, through and passing local sights, temples and markets of what was once officially named ‘Krung Thonburi Sri Maha Samut’. This tour offers so many new sights into how Bangkok still can be and bears resemblance of a less-hurried life style. You will immediately notice the advantages to use bikes on this excursion as quite a number of districts cannot be reached by car.

During this day, we include local Thai food and snack en route at a hand-picked and tried-out restaurant to satisfy your inner self after a couple of hours’ biking as well as enjoy a break at a local family’s house and learn how to cook traditional Thai dishes. As we do not want to reveal too much of what we will pass, you will be surprised that you will cover close to 20 kilometres during this day before reaching the meeting point again. • Please ensure that you bring sunglasses, a hat /cap and sunblock with a high SPF factor when traveling with us on this tour – even when it is cloudy, the sunrays still have an immense power.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to provide us with the correct hotel information, should pick-up and drop-off services be included in the package. Any changes in accommodation outside 24 hours will be handled accordingly: changes within 24 hours may be on request.
