Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, locally known as Wat Leng Noei Yi, is the most important and largest Chinese shrine in Bangkok, Thailand. There are several ritual ceremonies celebrated all year round in the temple, for example, Chinese New Year, Chinese vegetarian festival and many more. It’s located in Chinatown area and was founded as a Mahayana Buddhist temple in late 19th century. The temple is entirely built in a traditional Chinese architecture.

Currently Chinatown’s center lies along Yaowarat road which serves as the main eatery and lends its name to the nearby areas. Nowadays acting as a hub of Chinese culture with abundant of shops selling Chinese traditional goods, jewelry stores and also known as a paradise of street food lovers.
