Itinerary
Day 1: Bangkok – Kanchanaburi, War Cemetery, Bridge over the river kwai, Srinagarind Dam, Erawan Waterfall, Krasae Cave
Stop At: Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, 284/66 Sangchuto Rd, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand
Pick up from hotel in Bangkok at 06:30 a.m. Private transfer to Kanchanaburi by a/c vehicle (drive about 3 hours) to visit “War Cemetery” which is the main prisoner of war cemetery for victims of Japanese imprisonment while building the Thai-Burma Railway.
The cemetery contains 6,982 graves of British, Australian and Dutch prisoner of wars of which 6,858 have been identified.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Bridge Over the River Kwai, Tha Makham, Kanchanaburi 71000 Thailand
Continue to “Bridge Over the River Kwai”, the bridge which built to cross the river kwai during WW2 by the prisoner of war.
The steel bridge is a part of the former death railway (Thai-Burma railway) and the historical important landmarks and memorials in Thailand which is also famous by the movie of the same name. .
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Srinagarind Dam, Tha Kradan 71250 Thailand
Continue driving about 1 hour to visit “Sri-Nagarind Dam Viewpoint”, which name after Princess Srinagarindra.
This dam is an embankment dam on the Khwae Yai River. The purposes of the dam are river regulation and hydroelectric power generation.
Duration: 15 minutes
Stop At: Erawan Waterfalls, Moo 4 Tha Kradan, Erawan National Park 71250 Thailand
Continue to “Erawan Waterfall”, one of the most beautiful waterfall in Thailand. The waterfall is located in Erawan National Park in Kanchanaburi.
Enjoy walking to the waterfall, relax, take photos or option to trek up to the top level (7th tier) of the waterfall.
Have an included Thai set Lunch at the local restaurant around the waterfall.

1. Please prepare wet suit, good trekking shoes and insect repellent for waterfall visit

Stop At: Tham Kra Sae Bridge, Lum Sum 71150 Thailand
Continue to visit “Tham Kra Sae (Krasae cave)”, which used to be the rest area of prisoner of war during the the railway and bridge construction. Enjoy sightseeing on the railway bridge.
On board the local train and ride along the former death railway (about 30 minutes) before transfer to your resort.

Day 2: Kanchanaburi, Hellfire pass, Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua), Giant Monkey Pod Tree and return to Bangkok
Stop At: Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre and Memorial Walking Trail, 207 Moo 11, Tha Sao 71150 Thailand
Have an included breakfast at the resort (except “Exclude hotel fees” option that will depended on traveler’s hotel booking policy).
Private transfer to “Hellfire Pass or Konyu Cutting” by private a/c vehicle.
Explore and learn some history related to the former death railway museum. Walk along the trail to the memorial point (need to walk down and up, please prepare good walking shoes).
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Wat Tham Sua, Tha Muang 71110 Thailand
Then visit “Wat Tham Sua” or Tiger Cave Temple, explore the temple where you can view the most beautiful sitting Buddha image in Kanchanaburi.
Have an included Thai set Lunch at the local restaurant around the temple.

Stop At: Giant Tree Kanchanaburi, Ko Samrong Subdistrict, Kanchanaburi Thailand
Continue to visit the “Giant Tree”, the giant monkey pod tree which is older than 100 years. Now it become one of the landmark and top attraction in Kanchanaburi.
Return to Bangkok by private a/c vehicle. Arrive Bangkok in the evening around 17.00 to 18.00 p.m.
