You will meet your local Bang Rak expert at around 09:30 hrs at a central meeting point right along the Skytrain, one of the more convenient means to circumvent the notorious traffic jams. We would like you to arrive well in advance to avoid any delays before we venture deep in the alleys and hidden shortcuts to hunt for the local culinary delights and unseen side of this district. We soon leave the fine-dining and romantic, riverside spots behind us and dive deep into what is often referred to as the Village of Love.

Generations have lived, thrived and traded for centuries here and this part of Bangkok still breathes that well-preserved era. A small part of our journey through Bang Rak will unveil hidden sights and local attractions, more often skipped by mass tourism; this 3, 5-hour ventures take you on a taste bud tour where cherished local dishes and secret recipes turn into mouth-watering moments.

Walking is and remains the only option to get a feel of the ethnic side of Bang Rak but with a slow pace and ample moments to take pictures, let some of the district’s signature dishes sink in slowly before moving on to the next culinary stop on our way back to our meeting point. You will soon realize that with this off-the-beaten path tour, you not only have seen how much tradition an heritage still lingers in unexpected corners, but also how strong the community and social responsibility in areas such as Bang Rak still are.

As we arrive back near at Surasak Skytrain Station, we say thanks to our English-speaking guide before making your way back to your hotel or to another part of Bangkok on your own.
