Stop At: Wat Anongkharam Worawihan, Somdet Chao Phraya Rd, Khet Khlong San, Bangkok 10600 Thailand

Your guide and driver for the day will be waiting for you in your hotel lobby at around 8 am from where they will bring you to the main boat pier along the Chao Phraya River. Your long tail boat for the day and its driver are eagerly waiting to show you the lesser side of Bangkok’s water ways.

We start by crossing over to the other side of the Chao Phraya River to a Chinese Shrine near Wat Anongkharam. The Shrine is established over 200 years ago during Thonburi period and has maintained as much of its glory and amazing decorative items at the time of its construction.

Stop At: Princess Mother Memorial Park, Soi 3 Somdet Chao Phraya Rd. Khlong San District, Bangkok Thailand

We embark back onto the boat and sail upstream to the site of where the Queen Mother resided until her passing; to commemorate her, the house has turned into a memorial museum with artefacts and displaying her immense dedication to serve the people of Thailand as good as she can.

Stop At: Santa Cruz Church, 112 Thesaban 1 Rd. Wat Kalaya, Thon Buri, Bangkok 10600 Thailand

We follow the river banks and enter the Wat Santa Cruz, with references to the time the Portuguese entered the former kingdom of Siam.

Stop At: Baan Kudichin Museum, 271 Soi Kudichin 3, Thetsaban Sai 1 Rd, Bangkok 10600 Thailand

After this visit, we walk around the surrounding village of Kudi Chin where we admire the finer traits of how old baking techniques are used to make bread and snacks. We head back to our boat and continue our journey to Wat Rakang.

This was the former house of King Rama I and with its unique, triplex scripture hall more than 200 years old; this is a hidden gem that many visitors do not know about. Rama I was the first king of the Rama Dynasty and he received the name Chao Phraya Chakri at his ascension to the throne.

Our journey ends at the Phatravadee Theatre, a small theatre that is commonly used for private Thai classical performances with a beautiful location along the river. Here is where the Supatra River House is located – one of the finer Thai restaurants along the river where lunch will be served.

After lunch, we board our long tail boat and sail back to our starting point of the day where our driver awaits your arrival and will bring you back to your booked hotel in the heart of Bangkok. We expect to be back at your hotel at around 3 pm.
