We Climb to Doi Pui Summit first by the “Monk’s Trail ” passing Wat Pha Lat , past Doi Suthep Temple then to the Hmong Hill Tribe Village and finally the summit of Doi Pui the highest point in the Doi Suthep National Park, 1650 m elevation.
We reach Wat Doi Suthep at 1100 m about after 2 hrs. Here we start to traverse through highland Jungle and the old Hmong Hill Tribe Village near the summit of Doi Pui in about 3 hrs. We complete our Climb with a 30 minute down hill stroll to Doi Pui Camp grounds where our ride back awaits us with cold drinks back to the comforts of Chiang Mai but not without stopping at the rich Suthep Temple first built back in 1383 .
