After that we will go the Golden Triangle (This is the frontier between Laos, Myanmar and Thailand and is separated by the Mekong Rivers). Then we will have a buffet lunch . After lunch visit Mae Sai is located at the border between Thailand and Myanmar. This border town has a big market for shopping . Wat Rong Khun, perhaps better known to foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary, unconventional, privately-owned art exhibit in the style of a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand.
The wonder of Golden Triangle is the visit to 3 countries; Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, in one place. It is 9 kilometers north of Chiang Saen along the Mekong riverside road. Sop Ruak is the place where Mekong River, the border between Thailand and Laos, meets Ruak River, the border between Thailand and Myanmar.
There are magnificent views over the Mae Khong River to the physical triangle made by Burma, Laos and Thailand at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong River. For a small fee (you have to pay extra 300THB), you can also enjoy the boat ride to view the splendor of mighty Mae Khong River.
