Itinerary

Stop At: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Doi Suthep 50200 Thailand
Pick up at your hotel lobby at 8.30 am. (or 1.00pm for Afternoon tour)
Take in the natural landscapes as you relax on a scenic drive through the winding roads that lead to Doi Suthep temple and the Hmong hill tribe.
We will visit the Doi Suthep temple. Take the cable car to reach the top (Cable car ticket is included) or Climb a staircase of 306 steps up to the temple. This staircase leading to the site is adorned with the impressive body of the mythical dragon-headed serpent, or Naga, snaking its way down 306 steps.
Reaching the top, admire the Lanna architecture style golden pagoda covered with engraved gold plates, flanked by four ornamental umbrellas.
As well as seeing this magnificent temple the trip would be worth it just for the stunning views across Chiang Mai alone. Admire the great scenic panoramic view of Chiang Mai city from a 3,520-foot (1,056-meter) viewpoint on the mountain top.

We will continue to a Hmong hill tribe village where you’ll learn about their traditional way of life. Check out the residents’ colorful clothing and feel free to bargain for a few textiles, ornaments or handicrafts during your visit.
