Day 1: 2 Mosque / 1 Shrine / 1 Temple
Stop At: Pattani Central Mosque, 249 Tambon Anoru, Amphoe Mueang Pattani, Chang Wat Pattani 94000, Thailand
Pattani Provincial Central Mosque “The most beautiful mosque in Thailand” According to IQNA’s branch in South Asia, The construction project of the mosque began in 1954 and was opened after 9 years in 1963. It’s architecture is similar to the well-known Taj Mahal of India. With a big dome in the center, there are four surrounding small ones with two minarets. It is the center for religious ceremonies to be performed by the Muslim citizens in the South.

Stop At: Krue Sae Mosque, Tan Yong Loo Loh, Pattani City Thailand
This ancient mosque is built in the Middle Eastern style, supported by large round. The mosque is said to have been built during the reign of King Naresuan the Great (1578 – 1593). However, the most important element of the mosque, its large, domed roof, was never been completed, reportedly because of a power struggle between the sultan of Pattani and his brother at the time of construction. Krue Se Mosque is located on Highway 42 at Ban Krue Se, about 7 kilometers east of Pattani town. The mosque is open for religious ceremonies 8.00 am-6.00 pm daily.

The Lim Ko Niao Shrine is located on A No Ru road in Pattani City. Every year numerous worshippers visits the city for the “Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao” fair. It is celebrated annually, about two weeks after the Chinese New Year. Highlighting the fair is the joyous procession to carry the wooden sculpture of Chao Mae Lim Ko Niao, a goddess which is respected by local people, especially those with Chinese origins.

This old monastery was built for more than 300 years, with the sculpture of Luang Pu Tuad, once an abbot of the temple. Also, the architecture of stupa, chedi, temple, and bell tower are magnificently beautiful. Luang Pu Thuat, Wat Chang Hai, being respected by people all over the country, Luang Pu Thuat was an educational monk It was told that he was able to turn sea water into fresh water. Died in Malaysia, his body was brought back to Wat Chang Hai. The annual festival to pay respect to his bone and ashes is in April. At Wat Chang Hai, visitors can pay respect during 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.

Day 2: Bang Pu Community Based Tourism

This place is known of the outstanding natural beauty and ecotourism. The mangrove forest where the ecological system is perfect and Ao Pattani are the sites to visit. Activities to support the tourism are boating to the mangrove forest, the mangrove tunnel, fishing in Ao Pattani, sailing to watch sunrise and sunset, and birdwatching in the evening. Day 3: Wang Yaring
Stop At: Yaring, Yaring, Pattani Province
Built in 1895 by Phraya Phiphitsenamat, this unique governor’s residence is a mixture of Thai, Muslim, Chinese, and European architecture. It has two storeys made of the lower open space and upstairs with a spacious hall and chambers of the governor and his children. Other interesting features include the colourful glass clerestory, beautifully fretted wooden vent and gable, and the European. Spiral staircase as highlights. The tranquility of various 100-year-old plants around the palace gives it a serene ambience. Currently, it is in the care of the governor’s ascendants. Visitors are allowed with prior permission.
