07:30 Depart Bangkok to Ayutthaya, passing through many main parts of the Angel City.

09:00 Arrive at the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, built during the Ayutthaya era surrounded by a beautiful botanical royal garden. As well as many other outstanding monuments. The palace contains five important buildings as follows.

Stop At: Wat Phraya Krai, Wat Phraya Krai, Bangkok

10:00 -Wat Chao Phraya Thai. The central pagoda built under King Naresuan at the end of the 16th century was tall enough to outshine the Burmese-built Phu Khao Thong temple. Wat Phra Sri Sanphet This monastery was the most important temple of Ayutthaya and situated within the Grand Palace grounds. It served as a model for the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok.

12:00 Wat Mahathat – Also known as “Monastery of Great Relic”. It was the center of Buddhism in the Ayutthaya Kingdom Burmese put it on fire. A Buddha head entwined within the roots of a tree is one of the most recognizable images in a temple. Wat Na Phra Men or “The Monastery in Front of the Funeral Pyre”. The crowned Buddha the most important Buddha image. The crowned image sits in the Subduing Mara posture and measures 6 m high and 4.50 m in width across the lap. The image was cast of metal and covered with gold leaf. The peculiars of Phra Buddha are that the image is attired in royal dress complete with crown, earrings, necklace, chest and arm ornament.
