Travel from Bangkok in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your first stop in Ayutthaya, Wat Lokayasutha. This incredible temple is known for its giant reclining Buddha image, astoundingly one of the few structures left intact here.

Your next stop is Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, being part of the royal palace complex this is where royalty performed rituals. It is considered the most important temple of Ayutthaya.

Visit Viharn Pra Mongkolborpit, situated on the south of Wat Prasrisanpetch and is where the bronze Buddha image in the style of subduing Mara is situated. This Buddha image has a lap measurement at 9.55 metres and height at 12.45 meters. This is one of the biggest Buddha image in Thailand.

Then, visit Wat Mahathat Ayutthaya. One of the oldest and most significant temples in the history of Ayutthaya, it once housed the Buddha’s holy relic. Admire the famous Buddha head entwined within the roots of a Bodhi tree.

Around noon time you will transfer to the pier by Pasak River and cruise along Pasak River to meet Chaophraya River while enjoying an international buffet lunch. Once an important center of global diplomacy and commerce, Ayutthaya is now an archaeological site, characterized by the remains of tall prang (reliquary towers) and Buddhist monasteries of monumental proportions, which give an idea of the city’s past size and the splendor of its architecture.
