Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), 661 Chaoren Krung Road Talad Noi, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100 Thailand

Now, step inside. The 15-foot tall statue takes your breath away. Is the gold shining in your eyes? 83% of the statue is actually solid gold. That means it’s worth millions of dollars in today’s terms. Can you imagine its worth when it was first created in the 13th century? Unfathomable!

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Chinatown Gate, 322 Tri Mit Rd, Khwaeng Talat Noi, Khet Samphanthawong, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10100, Thailand

Built to mimic the typically Oriental gates found in China, this ceremonial gate is an integral part of Chinese history in Thailand. It also marks the entrance to one of the world’s biggest Chinatowns.

Stop At: ถนน เยาวราช, ถ. เยาวราช Khwaeng Samphanthawong, Khet Samphanthawong, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, Thailand

Yaowarat Road has been the hub for trade here for the last 200 years. Take a look at the map when it pops back up, and you’ll see why this road is favoured by so many business owners. If looked at from an aerial view, you might be able to make out the dragon-shaped curves to this road. Now, a dragon is considered to be extremely auspicious and lucky in Chinese culture and superstitious business owners weren’t going to miss an opportunity like that! That’s why you see this street overflowing with shops.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, 432 Charoenkrung Rd, Pompab Sattru Pai, Bangkok 10100 Thailand

Built-in 1872 at the core of Chinatown, it is a beautiful amalgamation of both Chinese and Buddhist culture and philosophies.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Sampeng Market, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10400 Thailand

The market is almost set up like a maze, one that lacks any rhyme or reason. The cramped lane and its tiny offshoots are filled with stalls selling everything from shoes, fabrics, watches, and copies of DVDs to children’s toys, food products, electronics, and even gold! With so much to explore and the sheer volume of people and clutter, this experience can become a little intimidating. Add in the scooters, bikes, and motorcycles trying to maneuver their way through the market as you attempt to shop, and the whole experience can be overwhelming.
