Muang Trip Overview
Join our volunteer program to truly make a difference to both our elephants and community. Spend your days hiking to find the elephants in the forest, ensure they are happy and healthy in their natural environment and carry out research on their natural behaviours. Take part in our many community and teaching projects both at the school and in the village and immerse yourself in hill-tribe culture by staying and cooking in a traditional hill-tribe homestay and learning the basic skills that have been passed down through their generations such as basket weaving and bamboo cup making. We are a Non-Profit Foundation who are dedicated to giving our elephants the best life possible with the help of our visitors and volunteers. Our aim is to bring elephants home to the forest by working with the local communities to not only provide a haven for our elephants, but also provide an alternative livelihood for their mahouts and owners.
