Stop At: Ko Yao Noi, Ko Yao Noi, Phang Nga Province

Your driver will be waiting at your hotel lobby at around 7:30 am for a short ride to the eastern part of Phuket Island. Boats will be waiting for you which will bring you and your fellow travellers to an unspoilt part of Amazing Thailand. Koh Yao Noi, with 4000 inhabitants and just 45 square kilometres, is one of the largest islands surrounding Phuket. Its broad shape is a triangle of 10 kilometres basis and 12 kilometres high. Its sister – Koh Yao Yai – extends south of Koh Yao Noi. This twin Island is even bigger and wilder and offers wonderful spots for trekking.

Our mountain bike ride starts from the moment we arrive and to become part of the island’s traditions and eco/ sustainable way of life, this is the only way to truly see the ins and outs of this peaceful island. Encounters with ways of life that has slowly disappeared from Phuket continue to keep a major attraction here. People here mainly live here of farming and fishing, where rice paddies with dozing water buffalo, rubber and coconut plantations, mangroves and tropical jungle form the background for your exotic bike ride.

A fisherman brings you with his long tail boat along the coast of Koh Yao Noi towards a quiet beach for a beach picnic, swimming and relaxing. A beach that is void of beach chairs, vendors and a lively atmosphere as you know it from Phuket. This is just another part of Koh Yao that gives you a unique opportunity to quietly observe traditional life styles and people genuine activities, and meet with welcoming people.

In the afternoon, we head back to ‘civilization’ and to your hotel on Phuket. We expect to safely arrive at your home far away from home at around 6:30 pm.
