Ko Yao Yai is a Thai island in the Andaman Sea, halfway between Phuket and Krabi. It’s characterized by sandy shores, mangroves, rubber plantations and fishing villages. Beaches include Loh Paret and Loh Jark, the latter with a pier for ferries and long-tail boats

Stop At: Mosquito Island, North of Ko Phi Phi Don, Ko Phi Phi Don Thailand
Mosquito Island (Koh Yung in Thai) is the northeasternmost island in the Phi Phi group. Lying some 2.5km off Koh Phi Phi Don’s northern tip, it has a bent nail-like shape (when viewed from above) and has an approximate length of 1,000m and a width of just 150m. As with five of the six islands that form the Phi Phi archipelago, it is uninhabited.

Bamboo Island, known as Koh Pai in Thai, is the most north-easterly island of Phi Phi Archipelago in the southern Thai province of Krabi. Lying approximately five kilometres off the northern tip of Koh Phi Phi Don, Bamboo Island is a stunning tropical hotspot that offers the perfect getaway from the crowds as, despite the fact a few tours from Phuket make a stop here after lunch, the island is most of the time never too crowded. Measuring roughly 600m wide by 700m long, the island is almost shaped like a heart and is entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand.
