Itinerary
Enjoy a scenic drive through rural villages to Baan Nai Nang located at the foot of Khao Garos mountain range. Meet the lovely crew at Wang Toh Tao Pier where you will undergo a health check-up before boarding the boat.
Start cruising with your knowledgeable local guide into a maze of mangrove surrounded natural waterways that are connected to the Andaman Sea. Continue to the northernmost area where you will spot the ‘Ghost Mountain’, a limestone rock that features the spooky face of a ghost.
Enter the waterways by kayak leading into a spectacular, very narrow canyon, that is flanked by towering karst cliffs on both sides.
Return back to the boat and visit the ‘Cave Man Window’ with several short ladders, on which you can climb up to an opening, offering a fantastic view across the bay.
Continue to the southern tip of Khao Garos. On the way you can see thousand years old wall paintings on the impressive limestone wall in the west. At Midday enjoy a Thai style lunch at Hat Makham Beach.
Try how to catch fish like a local fisherman just a few hundred meters off the beach. After this unique local experience, head back to the pier and check the crab trap for a successful catch.
