Conch Demonstration

The half day Snorkel Cruise is the most popular tour in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Guests will have the chance to explore one of many of the TCI cays including: Iguana Island, Half Moon Bay, or Big Water Cay. Guests will be served lunch on this tour, which typically includes: fresh deli sandwiches, freshly cut and prepared fruits, and light snacks. In addition, a full cooler containing island rum punch, local beer, sodas and water is also provided on every tour. We provide all transportation to and from your hotel/resort within Grace Bay!

Start by snorkeling the Amazing Wall, a stunning coral shelf with depths ranging from 20 ft. to over 7,000 ft. Next, visit Gibbs Cay, an uninhabited island with powdery white sand, where you’ll swim in an area known for stingrays. On the way, watch as the captain dives for conch. Upon arrival at Gibbs Cay, interact with stingrays gliding through the shallow waters. Our staff will also perform a live conch demonstration and prepare fresh conch salad. Gibbs Cay is an uninhabited island where the stingrays play. On our way to Gibbs Cay the captain will anchor while he dives for live conch. Once we arrive on Gibbs Cay the captain will do a conch demonstration and make you fresh conch salad. Enjoy bottled water and a taste of the local rum punch. At Gibbs Cay you will have the opportunity to observe and swim in the shallow waters with the stingrays alongside a guide. Your Bahamian food festival concludes with a Bahamian dessert of coconut and pineapple tart. Leaving from Delhi you will visit the Taj Mahal, the city of Varanasi and several of its beautiful temples. In addition, enjoy a rickshaw (tricycle) ride through the busy streets and bazaars of Varanasi to the holy river Ganges where you will cruise to witness the ceremonies amidst hundreds of lighted candles and flower offerings.

This exciting taste infused tour encompases four amazing stops. You are assigned an in person tour guide, On this tour, cruise the beautiful western shores of Nassau. Our first stop, “The New Duff ”, for every Bahamian, guava duff is synonymous with the word dessert. Explore the history of this native dish and indulge in a sample alongside their refreshing homemade lemonade. Next, “The world famous Dino’s Conch Salad Stall”. Enjoy a demonstration of the unique preparation of this Bahamian dish. Savor a sampling of this aphrodisiac. Next up is Jaws Beach, you may remember this beach being the backdrop of the first James Bond movie “Thunderball” shot here in 1965. Here you are greeted with a refreshing chilled coconut. Take a dip, lay out a towel and relax or take a stroll along the white sand coast before our final stop: A delicious lite lunch at the colorful “Compass Point Restaurant”, indulge in an assortment of native bites & a refreshing fruit punch beverage.
