I combined a mix of sweet treats and savory snacks (5 or 6 in total) to offer you an Italian local tasting tour that will boost your Italian experience. We will start your food journey in the Brera neighborhood, one of Milan’s hippest area. We will stroll the intimate streets of this area and get ready to sample local delicacies such as a gelato made from organic and natural products and a typical salumi sandwich/board. As you wander around the atmospheric streets of Milan, you can hear about the city’s history and traditions from a local’s perspective. Continue with a stop at a small artisan chocolate shop and enjoy a sample of delicious chocolate. We will move on to another cool new area. and enjoy a delicious pizza at a chic bakery. Along with all local delicacies, you’ll also have the chance to enjoy a glass of locally-sourced wine at a popular bar.

Learn the basics of chocolate making, we provide you everything you need & assistance from start to finish. You get to take your very own handmade chocolates home in a nice golden box + taste amazing hot chocolate! We provide you all the recipe and necessary knowledge so you can do it by yourself at home later on! While other workshops are limited to dipping stuff in the chocolate, in our workshop you really learn how to make pralines yourself, from scratch!

Don Juan Tours Arenal is a family business that through its tours teach visitors the whole process behind two very important products worldwide, Coffee and Chocolate. At this Coffee and Chocolate Tour, we will teach you the entire Coffee process, from the seed to the delicious cup of coffee. Once the coffee tour is finished, we will start with the sweetest part of the tour, the delicious chocolate. Like coffee, we will talk about the entire Chocolate process, from the seed to the delicious chocolate bar and we will end up selecting some members of the group to grind the cacao beans and make their own chocolate bar. Once finished you will have the opportunity to taste several types of chocolate such as Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate.

Included in your ticket price are 12 individual tastings. We will visit 8 of Downtown Seattle's most beloved bakeries, restaurants, cafés, and chocolatiers. The tour starts at Dahlia Bakery where you delight in the days fresh bake. We continue through cafés where you experience the "World Tour of drinking chocolates," along with small treats and samples of chocolate. We spend a portion of the tour in an Italian grocer where you sample a selection of some of the best chocolate bars in the world (and from right here in Seattle). The tour ends at a chocolatier's shop known for its elite quality and unique incorporation of flavors, including fruit, honey and booze. You'll leave this tour filled to the brim with chocolatey goodness, but also with a deeper understanding of what chocolate is, what it means, and where it's taking us.

We offer more than just chocolate, Firstly, the chocolate tour begins with the cultural and biological background of cacao in Costa Rica. It further introduces into the collecting, fermenting, grinding and finally the making of chocolate, the drink of the gods. Secondly, we talk about coffee and its importance for Costa Rica's economic and cultural development. We have a showroom with important coffee picking instruments and a better explanation of the process of coffee production. We want to show you how to make Café-Chorreado, the real Costa Rican practice of preparing coffee. Amongst other sampling methods. Finally, we want to look at one of the most important aspects of Costarican culture and tradition, the trapiche. Here we grind sugar cane to extract the juice and make all kinds of local and delicious candy. This is for sure the sweetest tour in the area. We have recently added a MEDICINAL PLANTS GARDEN TO OUR EXPERIENCE AND A CHOCOLATE FACTORY

Our most experienced guide will take you to explore the fascinating world of the famous Colombian coffee and cacao in the same day. We will start by visiting two of the best specialty coffee shops in the most hipster neighborhood of the city, Chapinero. Here you will taste specialty coffees grown in different Colombian regions, discovering why Colombian coffee is so awarded worldwide. Then, we will walk through Quinta Camacho, an English style neighborhood, where we’ll reach an artisanal chocolate factory. Here you'll enjoy a delicious chocolate tasting, tasting chocolates made with cacao from different Colombian regions. Learn about this two great export products and take Colombia’s flavor with you.

As a pastry chef, I am pleased to share my passion & culture to chocoholics and traditional treat hunters from around the world. If you have a sweet tooth, join me on this chocolate affaire! We will taste chocolate in many different textures and try delicious treats in nine unique locations of different styles, all with something special for us. This chocolate adventure is wrapped with a magical eclectic tasting delicious delicacies during a relaxed walk around the Gothic quarter and Born neighbourhoods.

At nightfall, join us to discover the delicious world of chocolate where we will learn the whole process from the seed to the delicious Chocolate bar, once the explanation is finished we will select some members of the group to grind the Cocoa to make your own chocolate bar. Once finished you will have the opportunity to taste several types of chocolate such as Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate. Once this sweet adventure is over, we will tour our farm to enter the extraordinary nightlife where we can see some species of frogs and toads such as the Giant Toad, the big chicken eater frog, the small “Jewels of the Forest” like the Hourglass Frog and the most emblematic of Costa Rica, the Red-Eyed Frog. With luck during the tour, we can see some species of insects, mammals such as the sloth, raccoons and sometimes nocturnal birds.

It is an interactive place in which you become an explorer of the history of the most popular food in the world, amidst to tropical lush setting, discover the origins of Cacao. Also in our Workshop you will learn to make your own handmade Chocolate Bar, with the authentic recipe of the Mayans;  want more?  We have more, we will teach you how to make a delicious Margarita with the touch of Chocolate, our specialty. This incredible tour of Edinburgh begins in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. Our first doughnut shop is one of the cities original shops that hand-makes uniquely flavored donuts daily. Once you’ve had your fill at our first shop, we’ll take a leisurely walk through the Grassmarket up Victoria Street, one of the most photographed and beloved streets in all of Edinburgh. Along the way, we’ll point out various restaurants, shops, pubs, and other attractions you should check out while you are in Edinburgh. At our next stop near the Royal Mile, we’ll enjoy a delicious selection of chocolate, jammy, and other kinds of donuts at Mòr Bakery Followed shortly thereafter is a family-owned bakery with classic Scottish pastries that you are going to love. After a quick pause for some photos, we’ll make our way to our last stop which is a specialty coffee shop and donutterie. Chicago was once known as the “Candy Capital of the World,” and chocolate has been a rich, decadent part of the city’s culinary history longer than deep-dish pizza and Italian beef. Milton Hershey even learned how to make chocolate in Chicago at the 1893 World’s Fair and opened up his own company a year later. Also, some of the world’s most beloved chocolate treats, including Tootsie Rolls, Baby Ruth, Butterfinger, Snickers, 3 Musketeers and Milky Way, were invented or are manufactured here. And thanks to the Blommer Chocolate Factory, downtown can even smell like chocolate when the wind is right. There are 8 delicious Loop and River North stops on our scavenger hunt.
