Crôa do Goré is a small island of yellow sand that comes with the movement of the tide, located at the meeting of the rivers Vaza-Barris and Santa Maria, between the municipalities of Aracaju, São Cristóvão and Itaporanga d'Ajuda. It takes its name from the large amount of a species of crustacean called goré or popularly known by the local community as "Flame tidal".
