Island Hopping Trip is different from a point-to-point trip, which you can explore most of the iconic attractions in the Sai Kung Volcanic Rock Region of the UNESCO Global Geopark. The most suitable itinerary for tourists, because you don't have to spend many days to explore if you have a tight schedule, but still you can get a good understanding of the stunning geology and beautiful ecology in Hong Kong. Not everyone is good at Coasteering with the island hopping trip, even if you are not good at swimming and climbing, you will still be able to explore all those attractions.

Hong Kong Sai Kung Islands Tour Grass Island and Sharp Island


When you visit Hong Kong why not spend a day to visit the "Backyard" of the Hong Kong to see the natural beauty and fantastic scenic view of Sai Kung. You can visit the two islands in the Sai Kung, Grass Island (Tap Mun), Sharp Island and Sai Kung Town in one day ! We will take the 1.5 hours ferry from the Ma Liu Shui Pier to Grass Island (Tap Mun) and 30 minutes ferry from Grass Island (Tap Mun) to Wong Shek Pier, also will take 15 minutes ferry to Sharp Island from Sai Kung Pier. Sitting to the north of Sai Kung, this Grass Island with lush green meadows and crystal clear waters, its calming island atmosphere takes you away from the urban hustle and bustle with raging waves, urban cattle, and fishery rites. The Sharp island is home to many different types of rock and a wide range of geopark attractions. Among the latter, a natural tombolo that emerges only at low tide and Hong Kong’s famous “rock stars” the Pineapple Bun Rocks are most stunning.


Sai Kung Peninsula Paradise Beaches


The hike, which is taking place in the New Territories, is one of the most beautiful walks of the former British colony. Around 10km long, you will come across breathtaking sceneries such as tropical forests, mangroves, bamboo forests, white-sanded beaches, traditional villages and encounter the local wildlife. This is a full day tour and lunch (not included) will be taken at a local restaurant on a beautiful beach (where swimming in the China Sea is optional).


From Bangkok : Thaka Floating Market


Tha Kha also known as Thaka Floating Market is a hidden gem, and only 60 kilometers away from Bangkok. This Floating Market will give you a different perspective than other markets closer to Bangkok as it is less touristy and gives you a more genuine and charming view of a traditional Thai floating market.


Morning Walking Tour High Island Geopark


Overview: If you have half day free, and plan to do something special, not just stay hotel or shopping. Morning Walk Tour High Island Geopark (早上萬宜水庫地質公園徒步之旅) will show you marvelous view. The walk is gentle. High Island is located in Sai Kung district, one of natural beauty areas in Hong Kong. After the tour, you will know HK public transportation is convenient, Geoparks are not far away from the heart of city. Expect: The tour will begin at Choi Hung MTR station (MTR Map Green Line), our guide will meet you there with other travelers. We will take public bus and taxi to High Island Geopark, all transportation fees are included, no need to concern about small change. You will enjoy 1.5hours walk at Reservoir East Dam in High Island Geopark, and sightseeing a landmark with Hexagonal Rock Columns in straight and S-shape, more than 7000pcs Double-T Unit (each unit weights 25 tones) as wave-breaking blocks, natural Sea Cave and Fresh Air from Pacific Ocean. Will back to MTR at 12:30pm.


Afternoon Hiking Tour Sharp Island Geopark


If you have half day free and want to do something special, not just stay at hotel or shopping. Afternoon hiking tour to Sharp Island Geopark will show you one of the best local outdoor activities. High Island is located in Sai Kung district, after the tour, you will know Geoparks are not far away from heart of city. The tour will begin at Choi Hung MTR station, our local guide will meet you there with other travelers. We will take public bus and boat to Sharp Island Geopark, all transportation fees are included in the tour, no need to concern about small change. The boat also called as KaiTo, traditional transportation for fishman. Duration of hiking route is 1.5hours, from Hap Mun Bay Beach (south of Sharp Island) to Kiu Tsui Beach (north) through the hill of Kiu Tsui Country Park. You will explore a pleasant hiking trail, sea views at both sides and natural sand levee that connects Sharp Island with neighboring small Kiu Tau Island. We will arrive Choi Hung MTR station at 6:00pm.

Small Group Hike to Ma On Shan Highland


The only half-day hike that takes you to overlook the Sai Kung Bay and it’s outlying islands from a plateau 400 meters above sea level. The hike starts at Ma On Shan Village, the site of the once biggest mine in Hong Kong. The mine closed in 1976 after 70 years of Iron mining. Most of the villagers have left the mountain, but some houses are still inhabited. The romantic nature trail leads uphill through forest to Ngong Ping Plateau. After one hour the mighty Ma On Shan to the left and Pyramid Hill up front. The views from the edge of the plateau over Sai Kung and the many Islands are breathtaking. This is a favorite starting and landing arena for hang gliders. Standing up here however provides areal views for those of us who aren’t flying too!

The trip starts in Bangkok from your hotel. Once at the famous Maeklong Railway Market, you’ll walk around the bustling market stalls laying on both sides of the railway tracks then watch shopkeepers scramble to move their merchandise out of the way of the oncoming trains! Next, we drive to Wat Kai Bang Krung an iconic temple, known for its roots and branches of a banyan tree which over the centuries have surrounded the building, that houses a golden Buddha. Afterward we continue to the charming Amphawa Floating Market. Geopark Hiking Tour


The Hong Kong Geopark, opened November 2009, comprises of eight major geological sites and is of International stature. One of them is in the region of the High Island water reservoir, the destination of this tour. The location offers spectacular rock formations formed by volcanic activities 140 million years ago, coastlines shaped by the predominant rock columns, and an impressive dam. The route then leads to a bay with a beautiful beach. Time to dip your feet in the South China Sea! One more little hill before the hike ends in an old coastal village. This fishing community is still active: the storm-protected bay is used for fish cultivation. You are treated to a seafood meal at one of the Restaurants here. After lunch there is opportunity to pay visit to the Godess of the Sea, Tin Hau, at her Temple. Return to Sai Kung by boat.
