This wildlife viewing excursion takes you on a journey to see two of the major highlights in Southeast Alaska. You will be guided to the Mendenhall Glacier for a 45 minute self-exploration followed by our wildlife whale watching tour. Once you have had a chance to explore the glacier park on your own, we will take you to the whale watching harbor where you will come aboard one of our state-of-the-art vessels to search for majestic Humpback Whales and other water wildlife we may find along the way. Our expert captains and naturalists are so familiar with these amazing creatures that we can actually guarantee you will see whales in their natural habitat from a safe distance. Our boats are equipped with restrooms and heated cabins to make this journey extra comfortable. Our fleet of fast jet boats all have plenty of outdoor deck space so you can choose to watch the wildlife in the open air or from the comfort of the cabin. Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Enjoy your port time in Skagway with a full-day shore excursion by mini-bus into the Yukon, Canada's westernmost territory. Explore some of North America's most stunning wilderness, and stop at Caribou Crossing for lunch. Lunch is BBQ chicken with sides of roasted potato, coleslaw, rolls, homemade donuts, tea/coffee (Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten free option of lentil curry is available as alternate). Included are a Wildlife Taxidermy museum with over 100 Yukon and Arctic species as well as recreations of Ice age animals. Historical Gold Rush and Canadian Mountie display also included. Onsite is a sled dog camp where you can see the huskies preparing for the Yukon Quest race. There is also a petting farm with animals to interact with and gift shop. Watch these world champion athletes compete in chopping, sawing, axe throwing, log rolling and a thrilling 50-foot tree climb while your host delights with lumberjack lore. Then the fun continues as you compete in a thrilling Axe Throwing Competition. You'll learn the art of throwing a 5lb double bit axe, and then after a little practice you will go head to head in a competition against other participants.

Throughout your tour, your guide will bring to life the story of the lawless days of Skagway and the gold rush. This tour makes several picture stops including the Welcome To Alaska Sign, waterfalls, Tormented Valley and the Skagway Overlook where you can capture the beauty of Skagway and the White Pass!

Immerse yourself in living history by visiting Saxman Native Village for a look at the rich native culture of Southeast Alaska combined with the action-packed head-to-head lumberjack competition. At the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, you will celebrate a bygone era as you see the logging history come to life with thrilling displays of strength and agility. At Saxman Native Village, your Tour Host will welcome you and take you to the Beaver Clan House for a traditional performance by the Cape Fox Dancers. After the show, you will visit the Carving Center to watch totem pole carving and paint making. Finally, explore the totem pole park to learn about the figures carved on each pole and their cultural significance. This tour also includes a scenic drive throughout Downtown Ketchikan. Your Driver will point out significant landmarks and share the rich history of this fishing town. Routes may vary depending on which meeting point you are picked up from.

As the original electric bicycle tour in Southeast Alaska, we're excited for you to join us on an easy, enjoyable ride on the "road to nowhere". This road dead ends at the edge of the dense Tongass National Forest, an extensive wilderness where you will then take an enjoyable, guided, educational hike along a well maintained trail beside an active salmon spawning stream. The hiking features a beautiful waterfall along the path as well as stunning beach views with potential to spot intertidal creatures, black bears and marine mammals along the coast. The dense rainforest is the highlight of the loop trail through the Tongass and is always changing throughout the season. After enjoying your guided hike you'll return to your e-bikes to cycle back to our marina for smoked salmon snacks along with vegan options and beverages. All our tours provide round trip transportation from both the Downtown Cruise docks & the New Dock at Ward Cove. Excellent rain gear is provided should you need it.

When your cruise ship docks in Ketchikan, spend your time in port soaring through treetops in an Alaskan rainforest! We will pick you up at the excursion hub which is by the bottom of the zipline by the green gondola. Also do not go the kayak center. There are two kayak business in town.
