The Nuraghe of Barumini is the symbol of the local Sardinian civilisation dating back to the Bronze age (from 1800 B.C. and the Roman age 238 B.C.). It has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1997. This incredible fortress consists of 5 large towers, surrounded by a village of circular houses. It is amazingly extensive and well preserved.
At a brief drive from Barumini and the stunning “Su Nuraxi” site, among unspoiled fields where farming and shepherding traditions thrive, we will then visit The Olianas estate vineyards and winery, 30 hectares devoted to native Sardinian wine varieties. Here you will be welcomed in the wine tasting lasting about 1,30h, where you can fully relax and peacefully enjoy the guided tasting of 4 Olianas "Biointegrale" wines, together with Olianas own EVO oil and accompanied by selected local products.
