Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest.  You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

In this 3 – 5 miles trails with Alaskan Huskies you will learn the history of the dog mushing and get an experience on how to help ride the sled with voice commands. – Free Pick up Service at a hotel in Fairbanks – Free Photo Service *** 2 tickets are required for Passengers over 250 pounds or 113 Kilograms *** – Dog Sledding Snow Seasons: From Nov. 1 To Apr. 20. – Dog Sledding with Cart or ATV: No Snow – Fall Dog Sledding Season: from August 1 to October 31 – Summer and Fall (It takes 10 to 15 min). If you use Uber or a rent car to get here, you need to pay additional expense. If you drive to the dog sledding sites, it would be dangerous because of the snow and unknown road conditions. Therefore, we offer to pick you up. We will upload your pictures into a OneDrive or a Dropbox. We will send a url linked to download them all.

You will be driving your own sled and team of dogs in pairs, an experienced guide will lead your tour on the trail (group size is 20 guests maximum) – Drive your own team of huskies, in pairs you will share control of a dog sled and team of 5-7 Alaskan Huskies – Training is provided on how to control your sled and an experienced guide will lead your tour on the trail – 90 minutes of dog sledding in the Arctic wilderness – Afterwards, enjoy cake and a warm drink in the Lavvu – All necessary equipment to keep you safe and warm is provided. Minimum age 7 years Join us for the experience of a lifetime, mushing your own team of dogs across the Arctic wilderness. Meet our kennel of over 120 beautiful Alaskan Huskies. These are the running dogs of the Arctic, born and bred with a passion to pull. You will have plenty of opportunities to swap between driver and passenger throughout the trip, as well as a chance to cuddle the dogs once back at the kennel.

Join us on a dogsledding odyssey traversing untouched frozen lakes and picturesque forested portages. Our professional dog mushers will take you step-by-step through this unique northern experience, from setting up the dog team, riding on a sled through the trails, and thanking our amazing furry athletes afterward with some well-deserved cuddle time. After your journey, share your stories from the trail and warm up with a hot beverage in our heated Aurora Station!

Have you ever dreamed to spend a unforgettable moment with huskies surrounded by incredible nature? On this hike, we take some dogs for a walk (or he takes you?) in the countryside, by the sea, surrounded by mountains view, up into our local forest. (We won´t see polar bears but we might see horses and sheeps.) After the walk, we will spend the second part of the visit with all the dogs at home, where you can take pictures, cuddle with the dogs and talk more about all the things the dogs do all year around.

After some playtime in the yard, we'll dress up a dog in a harness, show you the sled, and talk about the winter gear we use. If we have any puppies, we'll end the visit cuddling with the next generation of athletes. This is a great activity for dog lovers who want to learn about sled dogs, and more importantly, get a dose of dog therapy.

This is your chance, come and spend an hour with over 20 dogs, take pictures and talk with us about what we do with them. Take some time to hang with huskies in this unique experience in North Iceland. In this particular tour, you won’t just be meeting a working dog, you will be meeting a member of the family.

This tour has 3 options: BEGINNER (EASY): about 2 km (15 min) length sections on sleigh (either sitting or standing next to the mushers) with 8-10 dogs pulling Can be booked with a minimum of 10 people MEDIUM: 8 – 10 km (~1.5h) section on light terrain, with 8-10 dogs pulling It can be booked for min 2 people, max 6 EXTREME: 20 – 25km ( it's a full day's schedule, meal included) -with 8 – 10dogs pulling, with 2 escorts, both front and behind Can be organized for min 2 people. We have spent the years racing and learning about dogsledding. This knowledge is the foundation of the dogsledding trips that we offer our guests. We will take you to the tracks along the Alta River and the path where Europe’s best mushers race towards the finish line for the famous Finnmarksløpet. You don’t get much closer to Norway’s dogsledding culture than this. The frozen landscape is like nothing you’ll ever see, glittering in the sunlight and bathed in shades of blue, pink and purple during the light of the polar night. You can come to our husky farm completely immersed in the Finnish Lapland forest, and spend a few hours in the company of our affectionate friends, happy to be able to take a ride in the snow with you. You can then sip a hot drink by the fire of our kota, or have a light snack or book a meal at our restaurant. You can go for walks and snowshoeing in the woods or try the experience of an authentic Finnish sauna heated with wood, followed by a nice hot tub bath, completely surrounded by snow and nature
