Wash Bodhisattva and Explore Japanese Garden, Tokyo.


Guest will visit 3 places. Koganji-temple – Guest will do Bodhistant statue wash ceremony. Shinseiji-temple – Guest will see rare Buddha statue with hat. Guest can take picture with Buddha statue. Rikugien Garden – It has 88 view points, huge Japanese garden produced in year 1700 by local Samurai king. Guest will experience short hiking and challenge to find view points. At least guest can find 20-30 view points. At tea house in the garden, sitting on the bench and having Japanese tea, Guest can feel Samurai king life with amazing view. After finish Rikugien tour, this tour will be closed at Komagome station that is 10 minutes walk from the garden.

We will show you traditional life style such as Koto, a Japanese harp and an old sawing machine, which have been carefully stored for a long time in Kura, an old style storage in back of the house. The kitchen is made of Sake barrel lids came from a local brewery. It’s located on the second floor, you will see the beautiful Japanese garden. We provide aprons, so you don’t need to bring anything. We will give you a recipe that you can cook at your country. The class consists of some basics of Japanese cooking, such as how to make Dashi broth, and introduction of local made ingredients, which are not normally seen at regular supermarkets.
