Coffee and Chocolate Regular Tour


Don Juan Tours Arenal is a family business that through its tours teach visitors the whole process behind two very important products worldwide, Coffee and Chocolate. At this Coffee and Chocolate Tour, we will teach you the entire Coffee process, from the seed to the delicious cup of coffee. Once the coffee tour is finished, we will start with the sweetest part of the tour, the delicious chocolate. Like coffee, we will talk about the entire Chocolate process, from the seed to the delicious chocolate bar and we will end up selecting some members of the group to grind the cacao beans and make their own chocolate bar. Once finished you will have the opportunity to taste several types of chocolate such as Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate.

Located only about a kilometer away from Hoi An Ancient Town's bustling center, the Hoi An Silk Village breathes new life into the 300 year-old history of the Maritime Silk Road. The Village is surrounded by verdant mulberry gardens, lotus ponds and horticulture farms. From Sap to Syrup: A Tasty Guided Maple Production Tour


Dumfries Maples is a 25 year old maple syrup farm located 50km west of Fredericton in Central New Brunswick along the Wolastoq (St. John River), operating on a family property dating back to the late 1880’s. A visit includes a guided tour of our farm, describing how we produce maple syrup, explaining the process from tree to bottle. The tour also tells the unique history of maple syrup from its beginning to present day, as well as the local history of the area. The tour will be followed by warm homemade biscuits served with our maple butter and a beverage inside our owner-built cedar log cabin. This will be followed by the treat of maple taffy on snow. Extend your visit by exploring the property on our trails where you can experience nature and view wildlife. Full Day learning about the Process of the Best Coffee in the World


Our starting point begins at the incredible Parque de la 93, a park recognized for its wide variety of restaurants. We will leave on a 2.5 hour tour to our first destination, La Vaca que Ríe. In this well-known restaurant that serves typical food from the region, you can enjoy a delicious almojábana with aguapanela courtesy of the house and get to know the extensive menu of local gastronomy. We will continue on our way to Hacienda Coloma, where with a basket and a hat, you will be able to live the unique experience of being a true coffee grower, from learning how the coffee tree (coffee plant) is grown to learning about its final production process and enjoying a delicious cup. of coffee and a shot of their liquor. Finally we will have lunch at the Solomillo Restaurant, just 5 minutes from the farm (not included). Our day ends by traveling the same road that took us to the hacienda for 2.5 hours, enjoying an Andean landscape at sunset until the initial starting point.

Snow Monkey Park and Miso Production Tour Bullet Train from Tokyo


This 1-day tour from Tokyo led by an English-speaking National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter visits a miso brewery to watch the miso production process in Nagano Prefecture, Japan’s leading miso-producing region; and Jigokudani Monkey Park, which is famous as a place where Japanese macaques soak in hot springs during the cold season. Miso is a traditional food in Japan which has been sustaining the dietary life of the Japanese since ancient times. To watch how miso is made, a historical brewery established about 300 years ago. Obuse, a beautiful town famous for chestnuts. Feel free to stroll around the town and try some local food. Jigokudani Monkey Park is where the behavior of Japanese macaques can be seen up close in every season. As they soak in hot springs characteristic of winter, these Japanese macaques are also called snow monkeys. Enjoy the delightful sight of playful young monkeys and adorable newborns in spring and summer.

In our land you can breathe the atmosphere of the past, where the technique and the typical varieties of cheeses and mozzarella have been handed down for generations, remaining faithfully attached to seasonality. Guided by an expert master cheese maker, we will put our "hands on the dough" and try the processing and making of these dairy products, with the use of wooden tools. The cheesemaker will make mozzarella, burrata, nodini and stracciatella before our eyes and the participants will have the opportunity to create their first milk products and taste the finished product, accompanied by local cold cuts and good Apulian wine.
