Many Charleston Ghost Tours have big groups of 25+ – NOT HERE!! We limit our tour sizes to about 12 to keep them fun! As the night falls over the streets of Charleston, we start by the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon and walk through the historic streets where you will hear about real, and active spirits from Charlestons 350 year history like pirates whose lives were cut short at the end of a noose, a young lady who wonders down a particular alley, and a doctor who walks throughout the Holy City. Prepare for high seas adventure on this fully interactive, family-friendly, 1-Hour Pirate Adventure Cruise (check in is a half hour before the sail time) along Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway that’s fun for the whole family! The crew welcomes you with optional pirate ‘tattoos’ and lessons in pirate slang. Feel free to dress up the children in pirate attire to make the experience even more fun! The set of the Pirates of the Caribbean (Walliabou)- This site is the actual set for Port Royal of the infamous movie, “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Watching or hearing about the movie is one thing, experiencing it is another! There is an abundance of props and costumes remaining onsite so one can dress up and look like a real life pirate. There are lots of photos and shooting schedule from the movie that was done in 2002 (part#1) and 2005 (part #2 & #3). If you haven’t already seen the movie, that is definitely going to change after this visit. The other stops on this tour are as follows: Fort Charlotte, Fishing Village of Layou and Barrouallie, Walliabou Recreational Park and Buccama Beach.
