This distinctive interactive dinner for adventurers is a full evening plan, that kicks off with a collaborative activity of a Malbec cocktail making at our communal table. Sitting at our shared table, you'll wear aprons and chef hats and mingle with fellow travelers while starting with the art of sealing traditional Argentine empanadas using various 'repulga' techniques – finished with a competition! The four-course menu commences, showcasing homemade local delicacies from across Argentina, of course with the bife de lomo (tenderloin), served with several sides, and appetizers. The tasting experience features beloved dishes such as empanadas, chorizo, matambre, grilled provoleta cheese, steak, and more, thoughtfully paired with three distinct wine selections. We end the evening by explaining the intricacies of Yerba Mate, a traditional hot tea beverage steeped in ritual, etiquette, and history, complemented by homemade alfajores.

In 2016 we started Wine Discovery. Our tastings are focused around wine, food and good company, all shared around a big table – the Argentine way! Aby has been cooking traditional Argentine food every since she was a child, helping at (big) family gatherings and Bertie has worked as a sommelier since 2008. Together we want to share our knowledge and passion for Argentina’s wine, cuisine and culture! Journey into the Patagonian steppe and the foothills of the Argentine Andes on a pleasant 2-hour guided horseback ride. We will visit a famous ice-cream parlor that offers salty tastes and others made with cocktails; and some shops more traditional to know more about argentine ice-cream. La Estancia 25 de Mayo opens the doors of the Quincho Restaurant located a few minutes from the city center. A unique place to enjoy nature and calm, and enjoy typical Argentine foods, such as Patagonian lamb. The night closes with live music, where local artists bring their viewers traditional songs from Argentina.

In this interactive class you will visit a local market, you will choose native ingredients to cook and you will learn to cook typical local dishes, we will taste the mate. You will discover our traditions and learn historical data about this particular infusion. We will make empanadas, their dough, their fillings and their repulgues. Then we will cook an Argentine stew and you will taste two typical desserts. You will learn new culinary techniques that you can apply at home. You will discover the unique flavors of Argentine cuisine and learn about the traditional ways of life of a Buenos Aires family. We have options for vegetarians. In a +100 years old house and with our Host Belen and her team of “Asadoras” – all women grillers- , you’ll learn how to prepare an authentic ASADO/ Barbecue Argentino. You will enjoy the class in the house that has been from the same family for three generations. As part of this class, you will learn about different cuts of meat, prepare the traditional Chimichurri Sauce and enjoy delicious Malbec Wine.
