Commencing at Khuek Khak Temple, a modern marvel at the heart of Khao Lak, you’ll witness the community’s spiritual center. Our licensed local guides will provide insights into the temple’s unique features & it's role in the local community. Continue to the Big Buddha, just outside Khao Lak. This location offers reflection and appreciation of Buddhist teachings. Following this, a scenic drive takes you to the Andaman Viewpoint, where a delectable lunch awaits, accompanied by breathtaking panoramic views. The journey progresses to the harbor town of Baan Nam Khem, home to the Tsunami Museum—a poignant memorial dedicated to those affected by the 2004 tsunami. The final leg brings you to Takuapa Old Town. Marvel at the beauty of the Golden Temple, adorned with intricate depictions of Buddha’s story, created to reflect heaven on earth. We will visit a traditional market where we can learn about the native products of Peru, all this coming from the Andes and the Amazon of this beautiful country. We will have a fruit tasting so you can experience unfamiliar fruits with a unique flavor. After that, we will meet with our friends from different positions in the market, to learn about our daily life in Lima. After the traditional market, we will go to the fishing village of Chorrillos to visit the fresh fish market to learn about our seafood and the best fish to prepare the "Ceviche", which is our national dish. We will recognize the different types of fish that we have and we will learn from our fishing friends! We will also enjoy a delicious ceviche at a local restaurant. This cooking class is presented to you who have keen interest in authentic Balinese food and culture. Here you will learn to cook well-known local dishes in a relaxed and friendly environment. This small classes (only 4-12 people) are held in a traditional open kitchen, and led by certified Balinese cooks, making for a highly personalized and rewarding experience. The class starts with a visit to a local traditional market to buy fresh ingredients. On this experience you’ll feel the real Balinese culture as you experience its rich of tradition and the unique flavors and smells. You'll then prepare a complete 5-course set lunch which will be served after the class.


Market Tour, Traditional Cooking and Limoncello class


Our meeting point is at 10.30 am at Porta Carini, entrance gate to Capo Market, where we pick up all the fresh ingredients we need for our cooking class. Afterwords we will be in our location situated in a charming historical and noble XVII cent. Palazzo, located in front of the Cathedral called Palazzo Asmundo. Here we will cook for all the morning. What you will prepare is a full course sicilian menu based on fish, meat or vegetarian on request, totally three dishes. We will start from an appetizer of local olives cheeses and Monreale bread with extravergine olive oil with a glass of wine. However the menu is seasonal, so it changes. During the class you will prepare the authentic sicilian Limoncello with the lemons that the chef grows in her land nearby the Nebrodi park. At the end of our cooking day you will receive the certificate signed by the Chef and a small botthe of our home-made limoncello to carry back home!
