Guided Tasting

Enjoy over 145 years of brewing history as the guides take you through the interactive brewery tour. Learn in a guided small group with a maximum of 15 travelers about all of the ingredients that go into the award-winning brews and hear about the state of the art brewing process used today. The tour ends with a tasting, where you’ll get to enjoy samples of the beer as the knowledgeable guides talk you through the different styles and flavors in the range.

Sample a variety of award-winning rums and discover your favorites! All are carefully hand-crafted on site and harness the vibrant sugar cane industry of Louisiana. Meet and speak with the actual rum makers as we give you a behind-the-scenes look at this time-honored process.

An immersive wine and art experience in the unique Amarone Venetian Villa and Chateau built between the 1500 and 1700’s at the center of Valpolicella’s history. You will taste the award-winning wines of brothers Giovanni and Guglielmo Bertani, whose family is among the founders of the wine region. Your guide will take you through the splendid neoclassical architecture, frescoed rooms, romantic gardens and the ancient vineyards of the Clos. The visit will continue on to the natural grape drying rooms, the original vinification area of the Amarone Classico Riserva, and down to the monumental ageing cellars with barrels that are over two hundred years old. Each tour will include a seated wine tasting.

The first self-guided tour in Bologna to discover food and culture at your own pace! We will dive into coffee with this roasting session. From farm to green bean to roasting, we will talk about all the aspects of coffee. While roasting, the guide will teach how roasting impacts flavors and what we are aiming with this process, and by the end of the session we will taste the roasted coffee to access it´s flavor and each person will bring the coffee home with instructions to taste it throught the weeks and access it´s qualities as it improves and degrades with time.

The marine biologists of El Peix al Plat – Barcelona Fishing Tourism will guide you to discover the world of the Fishermen's Guild, a century-old organization at the heart of which the activity of the city's professional fishermen is encouraged. On our walking tour through the net yards, the purse seine piers, small gear and trawling, we will discover the richness of the Mediterranean, its biodiversity, its maritime and gastronomic culture. We will observe the daily activity of the netters and fishermen, whom we will accompany from their landing to the fish market to attend the live auction of fresh fish.
