Enjoy your port time in Skagway with a full-day shore excursion by mini-bus into the Yukon, Canada's westernmost territory. Explore some of North America's most stunning wilderness, and stop at Caribou Crossing for lunch. Lunch is BBQ chicken with sides of roasted potato, coleslaw, rolls, homemade donuts, tea/coffee (Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten free option of lentil curry is available as alternate). Included are a Wildlife Taxidermy museum with over 100 Yukon and Arctic species as well as recreations of Ice age animals. Historical Gold Rush and Canadian Mountie display also included. Onsite is a sled dog camp where you can see the huskies preparing for the Yukon Quest race. There is also a petting farm with animals to interact with and gift shop. This 6 hour tour that departs from Yukon Heath's Popcorn Emporium at 9a.m. This tour features stops at Capt Moore's Bridge and Tutshi. Next visit Caribou Crossing Iditarod Training Camp for approx 1 hour. This gives you time for lunch, the wildlife museum, petting farm and PUPPIES! The tour will also take you to Emerald Lake, The Yukon sign, the Welcome to Alaska sign, and there is a possibility of wildlife spotting including bears, sheep, caribou, elk, lynx, fox, eagles, and moose. All our 84 friendly Alaskan huskies have names and different personalities. They love to run and receive cuddles. We travel over tundra and through forests and you will get in close contact with both nature and dogs. During daytime, you will get a beautiful view towards the Lyngen Alps, and during dark season you can experience the northern light dancing above us. Two people share each sled and we will stop along the way to change mushers and to take photos.

In all our activities, the well-being of our animals is always the most important thing. Our farm is located next to the traditional frontman's house, where the dog handlers live and take care of them. In connection with the farm, there are also customer rooms in a hut, where you can hear about our dogs with hot juice while the dogs keep you company. We do not limit the number of photos and have invested in ensuring that our customers have time to scratch and take pictures of the dogs.
